I am a cyclist that likes sci-fi.
I also suffer from depression at times, so I chose a name of a depressed character that makes me smile. It was either this or Eyore (sp).
I'm sure I should have picked the other name.
This one is sure to backfire.

I was just searching for someone that would talk with me, and all it took was a message here.
I'm sure you are a fine person that I am unworthy to communicate with, but if you insist on wasting your time.
I ride a Giant Cypress most of the time, although I have a couple of older bikes I tinker with.
I know I don't ride nearly as many miles as most of those guys in road cycling, or any of the other forums, but riding gives me a chance to focus and enjoy life.
I am looking forward to exchanging ideas with people here. I have learned a lot already, just by reading.

We haven't met have we? I don't have fun.
I'm more apt to say, "Pardon me for breathing, which I never do any way so I don't know why I bother to say it, oh God, I'm so depressed."
But seriously, I only ride for fun. But I am hoping to increase my distance for the health benefits. I will always just cruise around. I have no "need for speed."
Thanks for the welcome. I like it here from reading around.
