Greetings from Fredericton, NB, CANADA!
Hello peeps, just looking for ppl in my area that are into cycling (nothing fancy) for fun. Style Vs speed is my motto. Im hoping I can still ride during the winter months (-40) and Im trying to build a Fixie for that reason, plus the roads in here are pretty flat. Only one gigantic hill that leads to nowhere (the mall). I moved here (with my wife) about six months ago from Seattle Wa, and so far this city has been great. The fall is here now and its great riding, crisp refreshing weather. I've met a couple of great people thru Critcal Mass, altough I wished more ppl would show up. Xerocracy is needed.
Love going on rides and stop at a pub to get some drinks and good food. I used to Dj before moving here and im kinda thinking of starting again. Love to throw parties and have a great time.
looking forward to use all the help i can get from this site while building my new bike and tips for winter riding.
HAve a great day! and ride safe!

long time visiter
Welcome to Bike Forums. I have spent very little time in Fredericton, however I've been to St. John quite a few times. I've always wished I had a road bike with me on those trips. There is some amazing scenery out there.

Hey Ron, thanks for the tip on that sub forum! lots of good info on winter biking there! thanks a lot.
Right now Im mostly riding my crappy Supercycle Medallist road bike that I got here. And I have a friend who has a vintage Peugeot frame for me, so I can start building my own fixie. It will be a good winter project for sure.

Yeah Alfster, the maritimes is definetly a great place to be during the fall. Specially riding around with all those awesome autumn bright colors... And summers are great. I havent done much riding in Saint John, only been there a couple of times to visit.
