Hi all! I'm looking at getting my first (real) mountain bike in a few weeks. I've had a Wal-Mart Roadmaster for years and have even ridden a few trails on it. However, I want to do a bit more trail riding than the bike will handle. I've ridden motorcycles for years, but now I got the bug for some pedel power. There are lot of cool, wooded trails around and I can't wait. I'm surrently looking at a Cannondale Jekyll 400. Seems like plenty of bike for a newbie, and I can upgrade along the way! I've seen some Miami riders on the board, anyone from the Central Florida area?

My home is in Lake Mary but I'm attending college now at UF

I don't know what part of Central Florida you're from but there is a good mountain bike trail between Lake Mary and Winter Springs off of SR 419

I live near Lakeland, so that's not to far away. I'll have to check it out!
