Hi I'm Lincoln, former collegiate racer getting back into cycling. Boston MA
Hi BikeForums. I'm on here in part because I'm getting back into cycling. I raced class D (cat4/5) in college, but after I graduated, I was off the bike for a while... but now I'm starting to try to get in shape enough to ride (and possibly get my ass handed to me in some cat4/5 racing) this summer.
I'm new to the Boston cycling scene, and somewhat scared of city traffic (I had a bad experience with a car a couple of years ago) So I'm looking for some routes that head out of the city. I'm not in shape yet, so I might have to train on my own before I'm ready for any group rides.
I ride a 2002 Bianchi Giro, converted to shimano 105 9-speed with a double up front.
feel free to hit me up!
