Ok heres my update. We are trying to eliminate stickies. But this is a candidate for best of. If you look at the top of mountain biking page we have a best of directing to the top threads in the forum. This is going in there.

I also shrunk the size of your font, freaking obnoxiously large...jeez.

Thanks for starting the thread, good idea.

Hey Huffy Sledghammer was my first bike, represent!

Exactly how the hell did I ruin it? I contributed TWO links to pages that have links to the VAST MAJORITY of the bike companies out there. Just because I didn't contribute to the stupid popularity contest doesn't meant I ruined anything

Then slap a smiley on the end of it. It's pretty hard to discern how a single sentence is meant with plain text and no context

Well if you think about it, it really is. Everyone (for the most part) is contributing what they like.

well, if you think about it, if everyone contributes what they like, then everything will get contributed, won't it? thats what i'm aiming for. I want this to be good for getting links to seeing stuff that you wouldn't otherwise see or hear of. Half these brands i've never heard of, it's just the people that contribute "what they like" that gets it out in the open for everyone else to see.

No. I haven't seen half of what was covered on the two links I gave.

well raiyn, if people like it, then they will contribute, which generally means it has a good reputation or is reliable. if you don't like it, you don't need to visit this thread.

You completely miss my point. You're looking for a definative list of decent bike companies aren't you?
You won't get it this way. If you'd prefer I can just c/p EVERY SINGLE LINK on those two pages one at a time
