5 hours of jumps and drops will knock the crap out of anyone who's not used to it.

Side note: Don't use plz instead of please there's no reason to take lazy shortcuts like that when you have all the time in the world to type up a response.

the 5 boro bike tour in manhatten last year took me less than 5 hours and my butt and my back were killing me when I was done...do you think my specialized would look funny if I retrofitted a bananna seat?

Thanks for rolling out the welcome mat. Perhaps the seat is too high. I just bought it too its a specialized body geometry, How high up should it be and do you think it should be completely level or tilted forward or back for the best results? just curious?
thanks

there are those here who could probably tell you how to get the right height over the web a whole lot better than I can. I just know that I dont want to feel like Im leaning forward or back, and that my knees dont straighten out but to give a detail of how to do it Raiyn, A2, or some others do a better job of guiding on "how to"

Thanks for the advise I will ask them when I get the chance. Do you know off hand if its a good seat that I bought? I'm starting to see them on a whole lot of new and expensive specialized bikes as standard equipment now.
thanks

Oh man, yea thats pretty normal. I had the same thing happen to me, and it sucks big time. Basically take a 3-4 days off...I know, it sucked for me too. But take it from me, it doesn't get better unless you take those days off. I had back pain for probably 2 weeks.

take a few days off, hit a hot tub, then if you do any exercise/weight traning other than biking, incorporate a back routine into your normal training schedule. your back will hate you for the first week or so, then it'll be great.
