Cannondale Seatpost Tightness
I have a 2001 Cannondale F600 and I read a few places that it took a 27.2 post
I just got a 27.2 cheap Truvativ post from Jenson and it seems pretty tight. It goes in but pretty damn hard to get it in.
I don't have grease, still need to go to LBS and buy some.
Did I get the wrong size post? Or is it that it just needs grease?
How hard should it be to get it in the seat tube? It seems like its fairly tight, even with ni grease.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks

Cannondale's do in fact use 27.2 seatpost.
The problem is probaby the "cheap" seatpost might not be perfectly round.

I am having a similar problem on my Cannondale 2.8 frame (Aluminum). The seatpost is carbon, it is brand new and sized 27.2. I cleaned up the inside of the seat tube to remove any grease, and then tried to install the seatpost. Goes upto the minimum insertion line and then gets stuck, I haven't taken extreme measures, but it simply does not want to go in more. Getting it out is pretty tough too.
Any ideas?
