Disc brake pad upgrade...

Guys, I want to upgrade my current pads on my '04 Hardrock. The current setup is the shimano mechanical disc brake assembly included with the bike originally. I think it's the shimano 475 (non-series specific). I know the way to go is to upgrade these, but in the mean-time I am thinking about just upgrading the pads. Anyone familiar with the EBC Brand? Specifically, the ''red" pads? Just looking for something until I do full upgrade. Thanks!!!

Those would work fine for you. Also Fibrax pads are decent. You won't notice a huge change until you pop for some Avid BB7's though

Iwent to their website but I couldn't find my disc type on the list. Is there a generic type to fit my setup or did I just miss something? Should I call them to get a part number? Thanks Raiyn.
