The sinister is good...the geometry may not be small enough for a pure djker...have yo looked at the Norco 125

https://www.norco.com/bikes/2003bikes/one25.htm

Definately one of the top djers right now and VERY reasonable at 800american or so.

i really like the sinister. i was gonna be the 03, and put a Marzocchi Dirt Jump 3 on it. And i would get the 15inch, i figured it would be small enough for dirtjumpin. But my local bike shop said that its not a great bike, i guess its not strong and doesnt have anything good on it....thats wat he sed

Its a decent bike...but it isn't the best bike around. For the price I think you could get more strength (which is of course important in jumping)

Norco 125 (or any from that series of bikes)
P Series by specialized
Kona Stuff/roast has proven itself
KHS Rigid one (did I just recommend a KHS...)

If you want to build one up
.243 racing (frame is cheap enough so building one for around 1000$ shouldn't be hard)
Planet X (if you find a good deal these are SAWEET)

Thats it for around 1000$...the Sinister is decent like I said and would be a tonne of fun. I just think in that price range there is better...the 125 being the best value in there imo.

Here's the website... 300 bucks for a practically indestructable frame.

Evil Imperial makes an awesome DJ bike. I love the adjustable chain stay length via the dropout adjustments.

Other notable mentions are the Porn King 24

That thing is sexier every time I see it. If I get into this djing thing that is my next bike. Too bad they only make it in 13" frame this year (very large 13" but still too small for me)
