Is this a good deal?

https://boise.craigslist.org/bik/351325453.html

Seams like it would be a steal, $1200 for a Carbon full suspension hydrolic bike. One thing I know nothing about is Giant mountain bikes. What is the quality of this bike also.

Used carbon is never a good deal - especially for a newbie. Too much **** to go wrong.

I am 6'-4" so I think the big would be a perfect fit that way. What is the difference in upkeep or problems carbon versus aluminum. I wouldn't say I am a beginner, I used to BMX race for about 6 years and I do alot of downhill and trail in the mountains. I am no expert, I would call myself intermediate.

Thanks

When carbon fails it FAILS. I wouldn't buy used carbon from my best friend never mind a complete stranger. At least with new carbon you know and control it's history.

I tend to stay away from carbon like its the plague. I'm poor, its expensive and requires closer maintenance/replacement intervals.
