I just got my dream bike. It's a 2001 Airborne Lucky Strike Full XTR-Airborne bar ends, skewers, seat post, cables, XTR Brakes-Selle Italia Ti Saddle-Bontrager RaceLite Wheelset-Ritchey WCS SpeedMax, Kevlar, Blue Sidewall Tires-Rock Shox SID SL-Chris King Headset-Race Face Stem & Handlebar-Time ATAC Ti Pedals-Cuissi Stainless Steel Water Cages. I love this bike!

The Lucky Strike should be called "Superbike" "It's faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to climb tall buildings in a single bound --- 'Look, up the trail,' 'It's a F-22 Raptor,' 'It's a Top Fuel Funny Car,' 'It's' an Off road Ferrari,' It's a Superbike....' "

This bike does it all. The Airborne Company is First Class, The Customer Service is First Class, & The Bike is First Class! "If you want to fly with the Eagles you can’t run with the turkeys, you've got to get Airborne sooner or later!"

Thank you Rich!
I am in love with this bike. I had a Fisher, and it was a great bike too. I just like they way the Ti soaks up all the trail trash.

I ride a Kona AA with Manitou SX-R front suspension and a combination of LX and XTR components. I know there's a lot of new stuff out there but this ride is really sweet and I don't see changing it for nothing.

Hey Seer, welcome to the Forums, and BTW nice bike. I'm a big fan of Specialized products! I had a FSR and currently have a P.3.

This thread is still going?!!? Thought I would reply. I ride an old Peugeot (popular here in Europe). It is a Columbus SLX/Reynolds 531 mix with an RST Mozo fork and a mix of old Deore DX and new LX/XT. USE seatpost (these are the best), 3ttt handlebars (Italian) and Wolber rims. I have had the same wheels for 5 years/6,000 miles and they have never needed truing!

I am surprised by the responses on this thread - I just asumed that all Americans rode the ultimate bikes - refreshing to see otherwise.

I am new at this and I ride a Gary Fisher Tarpon that I just bought this past summer. Ya gotta start somewhere. I'm starting at the beginning and will work my way up. This one suits my needs (and my wallet).

I'm new here, so I guess this is as good a place as any to show my ride...

Actually, it just one of my bikes, I also have a Ellsworth Joker, a Specialized P3, and for the odd XC race a Specialized Rockhopper FSR.

ummm.... I guess I should mention that the Norco is my first trials specific bike, and I usually ride my Joker.

The only advice I'm qualified to give is that after riding for years with suspension and several months freeriding with Boxxers, getting used to a fully rigid bike is painful, very very painful...

The bike I usually ride...

Hey Barhtrer,

Cool bike and very cool dog!

Male or Female? Couldn't tell from the pic!

Name?

Mine's a female and she's a great riding partner. She's a little mad at me right now because I haven't been taking her out riding at all! O.k., I'm a little mad at myself!

He's a male. I can only take him out when I ride the trials bike or I'll probably go too quick and loose him, he's only a year and a half and I dont want to push him while he's still growing. Only problem now is whenever I get ready to go for a ride, he expects to go too. Then they give you that look that makes you feel all guilty for leaving them behind...
