This thread is still going?!!? Thought I would reply. I ride an old Peugeot (popular here in Europe). It is a Columbus SLX/Reynolds 531 mix with an RST Mozo fork and a mix of old Deore DX and new LX/XT. USE seatpost (these are the best), 3ttt handlebars (Italian) and Wolber rims. I have had the same wheels for 5 years/6,000 miles and they have never needed truing!

I am surprised by the responses on this thread - I just asumed that all Americans rode the ultimate bikes - refreshing to see otherwise.
