the mountain bike king

Hello, so here is my problem, maybe it will be helpfull for someone else to prevent being screwed. I bought uncracked 36-40T MRP G2 SL changuide from this shop: New & Used Bike Parts
And they sent me 32-36T with cracked lower guide. Now since this had to be done on purpose...
Their solution is for me to send it back to them at my expense which is around 15gbp ! And this way I would be punished for their mistake or trying to f*ck over somebody. They are not willing to take responsibility and take it back on their expense or send me at least partial refund of 15gbp. So thats my experience with this unserious shop.

That completely sucks. I see from their 'About' page that these are the Ti-Springs.com people. I damn near ordered a spring for my RC4 from them this year because the price was right. Now I'm glad I didn't. I also see that they do NOT have a 'Policies' page, which usually spells out such things as return policies, ordering & shipping policies, etc.

Exhaust your normal channels of communication with them and if you still get no satisfaction, please post back here and I'll see what we can do. This is a worldwide forum owned by one of the largest internet forum presences in the world and is seen by thousands of people per day. They cannot afford to make a bad name for themselves so publicly; so hopefully we'll be able to give them a 'nudge' if your efforts fail.

Feel free to link to this thread in your next correspondence with them.

Ofcourse I tried to talk to them. I was solving it trough paypal. Paypal isn't really helpful in these cases because they tell you that you are eligible for paying returt postage but that's unfair nonsesnse because the mistake isn't on my side I didn't change my mind about returning it that I don't like the color or something. They sent me wrong item and damaged and they are not willing to pay the returning costs nor send me partial refund. They just want me to send it back for full refund...at my expense. What is really not fair.

OK, so this was a used item that they did not fully inspect before putting into stock and shipping out. At this point, you have a collection of spare parts for which they charged you intact-item price for. If you haven't already, send them that image and demand a refund WITHOUT having to ship anything back since the item is useless as-is. OR demand a pre-paid RA label. I agree that you should not have to pay return postage to ship it back.

However . . . how absolutely cheaply can you send it back yourself (i.e. - - in a bubble or tyvek envelope or something)? If you can for, say, under 3 or 4 gbp, you might just want to lick your wounds and do it.

As I mentioned I asked also partial refund of 15gbp which is price for the new lower guide (not to mention the worng size). So I think that would be fair compensation. But they insist on returning it. The cheapest returt cost for me is around 12gbp.
