I just bought a 2005 Specialized Hardrock Sport. I would like to upgrade it. I have about $20 and i want some new riser bars, a stem, and a tensionor. If i have enough money left i wanna get a seat post. I was thinking about getting some TruVativ Team Risers and a Team stem. Are these very good parts?I do alot of all mountain riding and a very small amount of freeriding (small dirt jumps, and a few drop offs (less than 5 footers). Are these good? Well thanks in advance.

I got my OnOff Morph stem for free at the LBS; I kinda pulled a weird face when I saw the stem and the guy said he'll replace it for free. (the day I bought the bike)

$20 really wont buy you anything, I suggest you ride your hardrock as it is, i have one and love it to bits, it really is a good bike even when its stock, try it out, in the mean tie, save up about $100 and then you will be able to buy your bits if you still decide you want them

$20 = 20 dbl cheeseburgers at burger king.
Ride your bike as is and replace what needs to be replaced as it wears, not because you want to or because you need to look cool...

Why a new seatpost?
I have a 2003 Hardrock and the seatpost is one of the only things left stock. Basically it is a Hardrock frame, headset, seatpost and crank/BB. The crank and BB will be replaced in a few days.
If the 2005 Hardrock is similar to the 2003 don't expect the wheels to hold up that long with hard riding. Might want to save money for a new st.

Still kicking.
You'd be able to get new tubes.

@Kona: I think someone said the biggest you could run was 2.3" but I may be wrong.

2.35 Maxxis HighRollers are roughly the size of the 2.2 specialized tires.
It probably depends on the tire, but I think a Fire FR 2.4 would probably fit.
