NYC: Need two 5BBT spots

Help! I planned to do the 5 Borough tour with my daughter and when I checked online it is already sold out. She did this once before and was already talking about going with me, so I don't want to disappoint her.

When did this ride start to sell out early? I used to register on the day of the event, mostly because I didn't want to fork over the money if there was a chance I couldn't go. It was never a problem.

Anybody out there have registration that they won't use???

Since 30,000 is more or less the limit of what can be physically handled on the route, the decision was taken 2 years ago to close off registration when 30,000 people were registered. It just happened rather early this year.
By not doing sign up on day of the event, a large number of marshals are freed up to work elsewhere on the route and we avoid a lot of congestion in Battery Park.
Best of luck to get a registration. Wave at us when you make the turn to the Madison Avenue Bridge.

Unfortunately, Craigslist is full of people looking for registrations.
