Stolen Bike Friday Tikit - Black - San Francisco

Hey crew,

Yesterday morning my pride and joy, my all black Bike Friday Tikit was stolen from inside an apartment building in San Francisco's Inner Sunset district. Details of the bike are as follows:

Bike Friday Tikit
All glossy black - no logos or decals
(except the custom nameplate bearing my name, Brian Cline)
Front and rear racks and fenders
Hyperfold model
Nexus 8 hub (looks like a single speed)

I'm very hopeful she'll turn up somewhere...I'm watching ebay and craigslist, postering the city, and haunting flea markets, but I would deeply appreciate any help the community can offer.

Here is a link to a printable flyer: https://goo.gl/ZW2f . Please forward to whoever you can (facebook! twitter!) and print/post in your area if possible.

Many thanks,
Brian Cline

Spent the morning at the Laney market. Many, many stolen bikes there. Even met a girl who recovered hers today.

The amount of stolen property there is staggering. Everything from shelves full of Aspirin and other drugstore goods to high-end bikes to stacks of new jeans. Everyone from your independent crackhead (using that term generically) to high level ORC (organized retail crime) outlets.

Knowing this place exists gives me hope that my girl will show up there eventually. I just have to stay persistent.

FYI, I'm putting together a group of past, present, and future victims to volunteer an hour or two perusing these markets on the weekends. We will catalog the make, model and color of bikes we see and post them en mass directly to Craigslist. If you are interested in helping cut off the fuel for the bike theft industry via re-uniting owners with their bikes, please contact me.

Thanks,
Brian

D'oh, sorry to hear it, Brian. Good luck finding it. If I stumble across any black Tikits on the craigslist down this way, I'll let you know.
