40 minutes in and he hasn't mentioned any of those things and refers to his cancer as "the disease" every time.

One of the O shows on OWN is about preteen's talking sex changes, no suggestive language warning in that show, or any other of the many Oprah shows in the listings. Except the 2 Lance episodes!

I heard a quote from the interview on the radio tonight. Armstrong said that you can't win the Tour without doping. That's like saying you can't get rich without robbing a bank! Sure you can, work for it!

seems like he's copping to the lesser stuff, PED usage, to deflect and deny the pay offs and conspiracy stuff.

Well, didn't Lance say his bike was a *****? But, no let's not even go there.

But this sounds weird!
Probably all the ads for sex change shows.

Did he just mess up big time? He said there was no positive test at the tour of swiss and then a minute later said that he didn't pay the UCI off for any tests and that really there were none to cover up except for the one at the tour de swiss.

Did I misinterpret something or did he just make a huge contradiction?

That's not what he said. The payment came after he retired and before the retroactive tests so what he was saying was that the only test he could have been accused of covering up with that contribution was at the tour de Suisse. People mess up the timeline on when the contribution to UCI occurred.

That's what I'm saying though. He said he didn't test positive at the tour de swiss, but then that he did?

I'll take a discredited career and $125M in the bank any day of the week.

I guess we all have different ideas of whats important and what we teach our kids. I would rather live my modest life with dignity and honesty, things money clearly cant buy.

Again, not what he said. He wasn't talking about the test in the context that it was positive or covered up.

Haven't seen the interview yet, but in listening to the analysis on the BBC, sounds like Lance is still in Snowjob-mode.
Just because Oprah didn't pay him, there is still the likelihood that her sponsors are paying Armstrong for this advertising boost.
Maybe I'll just wait for the highlights to come out on Youtube. Don't feel like waiting through all the commercials.

I know he said he doped, but I don't think he really did. He never failed a drug test... He is just part of the witch hunt...

I definitely don't believe that he is truly sorry. It really doesn't matter. I've never cared either way, so I watched the interview from a neutral position. After watching it, I actually feel negative towards him now. I think someone here nailed it when they said "sociopath"! I'd also toss in ego-maniac and arrogant.

How many people did he ruin in order to cover up all his lies?

Isn't Lance being interviewed to bolster his image? I don't expect him to comment on ongoing legal stuff.

But IMO, he blew it big time with the Betsy and Emma segments.

I hope Betsy and a lot of other people sue Lance. He has a lot of ball to be cracking jokes about 'never called her fat'. It was funny, I almost smiled, but Oprah sure didn't. He really blew it in that segment.

The Emma segment was bad too. Calling a girl a prostitute does NOT go over well with the ladies. Dumbass can't remember if he sued her? I'll bet he lost a LOT of girls with that one. What a tool.

He and Tiger probably laugh about using women. Scumbag criminal rich people need to serve hard time. Let them be the 'b!tches' for awhile.
