USA Cycling Championships

Heard it was a heck of a ITT today in Greenville, SC my hometown. Phinney is turning out to be quite a beast. Anyone get a chance to go?

Phinney sure picked his parents wisely!

Sounds like Ben King snagged the Road Race today. A double for the U23 team. I was out on a ride, so don't have all the details, but should be getting calls from the parents later for a recap from Paris Mountain as they watched them go by.

Sounds like both events were very exciting both in terms of the racing and because the winners are so young.

I was stuck with just the cyclingnews live commentary, but it seems to me like there was gamesmanship happening in the peloton for the RR. 17 minutes and no one wanting to chase points to negative riding between the big teams, Garmin and BMC come to mind first.
