Sling TV for U.S. viewing?
Wondering if anyone has insight on whether Sling TV would be a good option for watching in the U.S. One of their packages have BeIn and Universal. Or should I just stick with steephill....which basically has everything?

You could also go with Dishworld, which is basically an IP-based TV service that uses your Internet connection to deliver and record content. They've got packages that also include BeIn and Universal.

I use Steephill.tv and cyclingfans.com. I am sticking with them for now.

For live watching I use a Chromecast and watch on the big 46" TV.

I wasn't aware that it had a DVR function. Interesting. Although texbiker has a good point...I could easily stream live content onto my TV...that is if I happen to be home and awake at the same time live racing is available...there is quite a time difference between Colorado and all of Europe.

I tried Sling for a month and just dropped it. The service works very well and if I wanted to watch basketball, football, etc on ESPN, I'd keep it. Ditto if I wanted to watch skiing on Universal or soccer on BeIN.
But Universal and BeIN didn't show even a fraction of the cycling that their schedule implied they would. Universal showed some bike races but others were only "highlights", and BeIN seems to show cycling or any other sport only when they don't have Euro soccer (football) to show. The last straw was when BeIN didn't bother to show today's Queen stage 5 of Tirreno.
I might restart it for college football season, but right now it's not worth $25/mo to me.
