Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Neuvation M28s. Cheap, relatively light, take a lot of abuse and our team is sponsored by them. Badabing.

FYI, if you' want to tweak your bike's aesthetics, you can get black reflective tape that is basically invisible in the daytime, and reflects bright white with direct light. I used to have it all over a ninja fixed gear of mine, and it worked really well. Streetglo.net has it.

Picked up my new to me Las Cruces tonight after my LBS swapped over a bunch of parts, I can't wait to get some cross tires on her and take her out on the trail!

Nice Kelley, I so kicked myself for not buying from them when they were going out of buisness.

Yeah, shame about that. I'm going to try and hunt down some take-offs, though. Those things are amazing.

Is the geometry of the Kelly really tight? Toe overlap? The wheelbase seems really short for a cross bike. I imagine it's quite quick handling.

That's actually a really big bike. I doubt there's any issue w/ toe overlap.

I've forgotten how much mine weighed stock but right now it's 25.4lbs with both racks, carbon Pave seat post, Rival saddle, Fuse BMX pedals and bottle cages.

Nice surly, solid build. That shot makes me miss Alki and Seattle.

Not a true cross bike - I put knobbys on my '80 Mclean tourer, because I could.

My cyclocross, a cheap German, 2Danger CrossRoad Comp gettin' wet. (Pic 1)

Had to abandon this trail there and found a muddy path in the woods instead, bike got muddy. (Pic 2)

Drivetrain and controls is Shimano 105, funky bar is On-One Midge, Avid breaks I think, don't remember the rest.

this is an MTB frame, converted into CX:

I definitely don't want to use caliper brakes, but I have no other choice. the brake bosses are toasted...

here's another shot of two similar frames I have, but built differently.
