My new Focus Mares AX2

So I just got back from the bike shop, they sucked me in on this mares for $850. with Shimano 105. I wanted to try cross for a couple seasons, guess this is my year. Headed to Fort Ord for the first race of the year tomorrow. Not going to race but going to see how things work.

Yeah, I thought it was a good deal. Rides nice. The wheels are very heavey though. And the stem and bars need to be changed as well. I think I am going to have a blast on it.

i bought mine online and had it shipped to store for the free build up. my understanding is that they were only selling the 60cm online for this price. its hit or miss if one can find it at actual store for the same price. later.

You need to call them and TELL the guy what it is. They dont help too much, at least at my local store. They have a Med and and an XL here in Nor cal. If thats your size the XL is at the Mountain View store and I think the Med was either Campbell or San Francisco.
