First cycle for my daughter.

I知 going to buy a cycle for my 4 yr old daughter. It will be her first bike
on which I知 going to teach her how to ride, but I have no idea which bike to
buy, Any suggestions?

I would personally recommend the Schwinn Gremlin – 2010 from Track and Trail;
just got it 2 months ago for my son who is also learning to ride, the seat is easily
adjustable with great handle bar reach. Plus it has no gears to distract the newbie
riders. Hope this helps!

Nice! I checked out a review of the Schwinn Gremlin; it’s just what I’m looking
for! Not only that, it had was available in a whole range of colors which is perfect
cause my daughter is so picky!

I take it you've read the posts on teaching a kid to ride the easiest and most efficient way?

I got the Specialized Hotrock 16 for my 3.5 yo. I highly recommend this bike if it fits your kid. It will be much lighter than most other kid bikes. If you can find a Trek MT16 with all aluminum construction, that would be best, but Trek no longer makes the MT16 all aluminum.

From what I learned with my kids; Involve them in the picking of the bike, that way you have a better chance of them wanting to ride it. Get one that fits, which means she will out grow it quickly, 1-2 years tops, she will be ready for the next size up. The x-mart bikes are OK at this point. And will be easier when you have to replace it(see above). Just make sure YOU know it's set up properly and safe to ride. The main thing is for them to enjoy riding it.
