I wouldn't want to confront anyone who can push a FS mtb 20 mph up Grand Army hill and has a huge upper body. I have a huge upper body too, but muscle > fat any day of the week.

I'm betting on you cause you sound like a play-a and a play-a can beat the hate-a anyday. If he so much as touches you, file a police report.

I don't like ganging up on a guy simply because he lacks good bike etiquette. But it seems like other people have tried being nice to him, myself included, and he's still antogonizing joggers and bikers. This guy is riding reckless and spoiling it for all of us - even if he has expert bike skills.

i'll be leaving work in red hook around 6: pm today, heading straight up union to the park for some laps and relaxing in the grass.
again, brown and gold fuji, black reload, green t-shirt and blue jeans.
if you see me say hey.
i've already had a fight with a motorist today in which i told them i would tear out their throat (whoops!).. so i'm not looking forward to any further confrontation.

How many guys do you know that match the description posted earlier? Sh1t, biking in general is a small world... and even though I've only been riding hard in the city for a couple of years I already recognize a ton of people. I think if you knew him you'd know it. I believe he's usually out around 11am but will post more when/if there is a next occurence. As I said, I have no problem with someone drafting me - more power to them. But if they're gonna fff up my ride and terrorize other less experienced bikers and runners, I don't want to be associated.

Edit: Once I was riding in a pack with a roadie named Cathy who has the colnago carbon fiber (c40?) as well as some other roadies - we got a few words out of him and he said it's not a downhill bike. Maybe a trials bike?
