Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Did a morning ride with the Brumbies pukefest A group (a.k.a. JetSet mag racing team). Held on for 55 minutes before getting shelled out the back near the top of a climb. Met up with them just because I had insomnia this morning and decided, rather than looking at the ceiling for hours, I would go on a 65 deg ride... and they were the only close Wednesday morning group ride I knew of.

It was fun.

Looky looky!!!

I just found this on the Tange website...Yasujiro Slim Disc SS bike & frame made from their top of the line tube set "Prestige."

I called MerrySales, the North American Distributor; Still vaporware, production hasn't started, call back in 4 months.

I will wait.

...if this is the same Merry Sales that sells as a warehousing operation to the various LBS's here, they can be tedious to deal with, and I think they require an account. Maybe a different department ? ?

I just asked for information, got the product rep. Many ways to skin that cat. I'm going to email Tange & Soma directly.

That would be killer, if it takes 40mm+ tyres!

I had one of those in the early aughts.

Currently rocking a wired Conair unit. They were terrible at first, kinda had sharp edges that would dig in when cutting guardless. But they're getting better all the time in that regard.

I probably shoulda went elsewhere to get Wahl but it was a clipper emergency.

Good club ride today. We had 15 riders. Was very humid and an early taste of summer.

Well that's one piss-poor attitude.

Imagine, everyone has an opinion they're entitled to.

Wait till the rest of the 41 finds out about this.
