Will bike stores (particularly those in Seattle) haggle on price

Not to rehash what's already been said *too* much; there's always going to be some amount of wiggle room...getting access to it is the difficult part. Buying a current model year bike in-season in Seattle, you're going to be extremely hard pressed to find anyone that'll give you a meaningful discount. Waiting until November-February is your best bet, but that's far from a sure thing with the way most manufacturers have managed inventory the last few years.
One thing that may open the conversation up for you is, "hey, I was over at shop X and they had bike A for $3, but what I really want is bike B that this shop has, but I'm not sure if I can swing $4." ...you get the idea. Also worth reiterating that it while may seem counterintuitive, across the board margins on high-end bikes are way lower than entry level bikes.
