As as for my 2014MY Litespeed T5 purchase, I had originally called adrenalinbikes to order a Lynskey Peloton. After describing my characteristics and preferences (including frame stiffness) it was suggested the T5, with a promotional price, might be a better fit for my price range. It was a gamble, but I considered the store's experience with their customers, bikes, and their return policy in my purchase. In the four months I've owned the bike I've come to like it. I'm playing the odds on any warranty issues.
So, that's my experience, to this point of ownership, without compensation, with only a little remorse for buying the brand everyone looks down on and having to endure the "stupid newb"(from a local Seven rider) or "company shill" comments. Tomorrow I'm going to go for a ride to keep building my base miles in preparation for my first Gran Fondo in September. If you're there, perhaps you can save me a beer after you finish an hour ahead of me. However, don't worry you can drink all the craft beers and leave me the lite stuff.

The funny thing is that I am looking at some of your bikes that you have listed as owning:
Trek--Great company history. Look at what happened to Greg LeMond and his company over his Lance Steroid comments. In fact, look at the reporters who were sued over the steroid comments. Peoples lives were destroyed to preserve a reputation. That ended well.
Cannondale--Funny, aren't they owned by the same company that owns "descimated" GT and Schwinn.
Cervelo--Look at their frame issues all over the forums.
Specialized--Is their reputation for litigation well deserved or not?
Nishiki--Are they not owned by Dicks Sporting Goods?
I am not bashing any of these bikes. They are all fine bikes, as is the Litespeed. My point is simply that we could bash any of them and they could be based on some truths or partial truths. The OP was excited about her purchase just as their are threads about others buying any bike listed. It is a good bike, as good or better than any of those listed above. Lets let people enjoy their bikes instead of bashing them and making them feel badly about their purchase. For the record--I do not own any of the bikes listed or a Litespeed. I have no skin in the game other than I hate seeing a new bike owner getting told her purchase is bad, when it is clearly not. That is just a subjective opinion. I hate Trek bikes but I do not bash them. They make fine bikes. I just personally do not like them. I acknowledge that it is subjective and only my opinion.
Oh and don't get me started with Jamis Bikes. Weren't they founded in dreaded Tallahassee, Florida. Home of the Noles. Uggg.

Just for the record, several years ago I did a warranty claim on my 2002 Classic, and had no problems whatsoever. Developed a crack in the BB weld, and sent it off to ABG for repair. They did a fine job on the fix, the welds looks almost as immaculate as the original, and I haven't had any problems since. I have no idea about the politics of Litespeed/Lynskey/ABG, but just thought I'd share my experience. Their customer service was a bit lacking, and somewhat flaky, but I got my frame fixed, so overall I was happy.
Oh, and BTW, I'm also not a shill, as proven(?) by my 970 posts

Shuffleman, I was trying to be supportive of the OP's decision. I've obviously let some of the round research get to me. More importantly though, I relayed my positive experience, because when I looked most of the reviews or comments were from several years ago, or not related to the T5 or Ti bikes of late. I certainly agree that there are fans and detractors for every brand. In the end, you buy what you like. That's all that matters.

My main point is that the OP should be excited about her new bike and some times on these boards people get a little personal and I just did not want the OP to feel like she bought a bad bike. People on these boards make it seem like any brand that they do not own is junk.
Warranty problems can exist with any brand. I personally do not pay much attention to the warranty when I buy a bike. It is extremely rare that a frame is bad. We all know a friend of a friend but ultimately most of these companies put out a really good product. I had one cracked frame and it is was on a Specialized mtb and they would not honor the warranty. I do not blame them as I cracked it jumping oil barrels in my stupid days. Bikes are pretty tough within reason. I can honestly say that I have yet to see a bike by a major manufacturer that I would say is "junk". I have my favorites and my recommendations and my reasons for that. None of those reasons are anything other than personal preferences. It is not like we are comparing a Honda to a Chrysler. Most of these bikes/frames are all similar as far as reliability and durability goes.
