"Race Cut" Bibs

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I tried them on last night and it looks like I have a very prominent man ******** and I feel like I'll rip the bib or straps when I try to take a leak. I'm guessing I need to try a XXL but the thought of wearing something labeled like that makes me feel like a huge fat Fred. Are all race cut bibs that frigging snug?
1. Ignore the labels and use the size charts instead. Large from one manufacturer can overlap measurements with small from another. Hip size is probably a better indicator of fit than waist size for lean people although some manufacturers omit that.

2. Some shorts/bibs (Voler Black Label and likely anything else made with the stretchier Forza fabric) have a snugger compression fit.

Glad you asked this Floridamtb, I raised a similar question in this thread:

Sounds like we're about the same size as well. Turns out in Ale race-fit kit I'm an L jersey and XL bib too (and snugly fit as well).

I don't know the difference between race cut and any other bibs. Laundry dryer has currently on any given day Pactemo, Voler, JL Velo, Castelli, Pearl Izzzz..., Hincapee, Cuore and Assos - they all fit differently.
