Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I asked this in the racing forum, but didnt' get much info, hopefully someone here can help me out.

Anybody know what the model of the Briko sunglasses Pantani is wearing in the attached picture and, more importantly, anybody know where I can find them? I realize they're probably out of production, but some shop/racer/whatever has to have a pair around. Thanks.

Question: Why on Earth would you want those fantastically ugly sunglasses? (My opinion, of course)

Those are horrid, right there neck and neck with Babe Winkelman polarizing birth control fishing glasses sold at Walmart.

Thanks so much for the info guys, now I've got more info in which to track down a pair.

Smoothie, I did poke through google and found the same thing you did. I think I might be best of waiting for a pair to show up on ebay.

I really like the look of these sunglasses. You guys don't think they're the best damn sunglasses around?

The only reason that Pantani wore those ridiculous looking sunglasses is because he was paid a lot of money by Briko...lol. Idol worship creating a new aesthetic...brilliant marketing.
