Has Pearl Izumi changed their sizing?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Has Pearl Izumi changed their sizing?

I was trying on an 04 Pearl Izumi EKG jersey and an 06 Pearl Izumi team jersey. Both are supposed to be form fit, but the 04 jersey's L is like the 06 XL. Has Pearl Izumi changed their jersey sizing recently?

That explains it! All this time I just thought I was getting fatter! My gear was just getting smaller.

I've always assumed that the size lables got mixed up and the wrong ones got sewed on. I'm a size medium (5' 7", 156 lbs, 39" chest) but most Izumi stuff that I try on needs to be Large, but sometimes it fits like a tent, like almost twice a big for size Large

I'd never buy Pearl Izumi on line, ebay, etc. without being able to try the item on.

yes. Up until the mid 90s they actually sold mediums that were medium.

After LA, they now sell mediums that are large to keep the Supersize Me crowd happy.

That explains why their size small shorts don't fit me (5'9", 127 lbs.). B***ards.

well i'm 5'9" and 150 and i have some PI bibs and tights in Small.

both were discounted performance - only reason i'd buy 'em

tried on the mediums and the smalls, back and forth, at a NYC sports store to make sure that small was the way to go. Can't even imagine wearing mediums.
