Holy bladed spokes...
I got my Neuvation R28 Aero 2 wheelset today. I knew they had aero spokes but I didn't realize they would be this wide. I love the look of the wide blades spokes!!! They look like they can literally fly. I have not had a chance to ride them yet but I will be putting them to the test this weekend.
I needed a wheelset to share ride time with my Rolf Prima Vigors, which I love, and my custom built set that I am STILL waiting on.
Can anyone recommend a spoke magnet that will work with my Polar CS200 and fit these spokes???

Check your LBS - they usually have some special "slotted" magnets that work with aero spokes.
BTW - be careful when going downhill if there are cross winds. You can really feel the bike being pushed around more with aero spokes than standard round ones.

Also mind yourself while taking the pump head off. It'll blast your finger into the spokes and add a nice red highlight to those wheels and your carpet.
A Cateye Eduro that I had used a thumbwheel-style spoke magnet that fit, but just barely. I switched magnets with my Vetta, which only fit round spokes.
Those wheels are so nice. You'll be surprised at how smooth the bearings are and how quiet the hub is. With any bit of wind noise, you're completely stealth so you can ride behind all the cute girls and not have to worry about soft pedalling to kill the hub clacking. Ask me how I know. Then ask my ex.
That bike's a beauty, by the way.

The spokes don't look any wider than Mavic SLs spokes and they make a special magnet that fits on the spokes.

A full ride report would be great. What are you changing from? I am really interested in those wheels. They look excellent.

And peel those decals off! Otherwise, looks great.
Well, except for the lack of valve caps.

They're actually suprisingly good in crosswinds. They have wide spokes but they also have a very low spoke count. I rode Ksyrium Elites and my Topo's after and both were much more "kitey" in crosswinds than the Neuvations. Congrats - they look nice!

I am working from home today trying my best to finish with everything so I can get out and do at least 30 miles on them today.

Kevin, you riding tomorrow at all? Thinking of doing the RBM ride with probably a few warm up miles before hand. I'll be interested to see these new wheels of yours.

It's the other way around. Korsos are the rebadged version of the neuvations.
And really, neuvation only makes the korso's hub and rim. I have no clue where the spokes come from.

Kevin, Cuda...there's always the Plano east side ride
Kevin, if you show up, I can watch your bike for you. You won't have to worry about how those wheels will handle in the wind

It's a little windy today. I have one more conf call at noon, then I have to run an errand or two, then I will hit the road with them.

Well, the answer is that the Neuvation M 28 Aero and the Korsos are the same. The R 28 Aeros , which kevin has, have, at the very least, a different and much lighter rim.

I finally got to take these wheels out for a spin. I was able to do 35 miles on them this morning. This is a very fine wheelset. This was $400 well spent!!! The ride is stiff but still compliant enough to do some long rides on them. I did not do any major climbing today but I did quite a few rollers and some short steep hills. I switched between standing, spinning and mashing up the hills that I encountered and felt no flex from the wheels. The R28's coupled with some GP4000's makes a great combination. I like the feel in the fast corners better on the R28's over my Vigors. There was a 15MPH wind coming from the south today. The 5mm blades spokes do act as sails when the crosswind hits them but it's nothing that can not be easily controlled. This wheel feels very fast when riding with a tailwind and extremely stable when riding into a headwind.
All-in-all, I give this wheelset a big thumbs up!!! It is smooth, fast, and relatively inexpensive. I said it once and I will say it again...this was $400 well spent.
