Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Show some pics of Club Kit!

Who cares about pro kit.

Let's see some pics of the Good, the Bad, and the ugly Club Kit!

This kit in the pic below isn't from my club, nor is it meant to be a slam on the actual rider. It's the only pic i could find on the web. It's a local club nearby my folks.

Some nice folk in the club, but the colors & design are FUGLY! Green and Orange with a Frog, need I say more?

right on man! Its a great place for cycling too: great weather (most of the year) & nice rolling hills up north.

This is my Club's Kit. We are not a racing club, rather just hardcore enthusiasts that are comprised of racers, randonners and general riders. The Organization or our rides are so good, we get a lot of the Racers and other clubs members coming out for our 2 weekly rides.

We always ride 100 km on Saturdays (with a 50 km option), and 50 km on Wednesday evenings. Our rides are sorted out into Fast riders (+32km ave), Intermediate (~27 km), and Slow (> 25km).

I don't always wear the kit, as I like my own jerseys too much, but it is fun to put it on every now and then. There is something neat about riding in a pack of 30 to 70 riders, most of them wearing the Team Yellow!
