Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bought it second hand from a LBS (only just sussed out what it stands for!!!), I know its a reynolds frame and the wheels "look" expensive, its 105 kit I think also?? Am I a total no hoper in the bike world or what!!! If I list the components out on here will someone tell me if the bike is any good********** Wouldn't want to buy a new one in January if the one I have is good??

Being there are no shortages of opinions here, list away, someone will give an opinion of your bike. The most important thing is not wheather someone else likes the bike, but that when you ride it, you like it. The best bike is the one you enjoy riding.

Have Fun!!

That bike came out sweet, and the bar angle looks really good. 2 things though, exchange that seat for a black one and ditch the white bar tape. what size frame is that? Why did you try so hard for the red white and blue?

I have not seen one in that color combination although there could be some out there in that color. Just want to have a different color scheme from other trek 5500 bikes out there.

Finally, I'v had this bike for about 5 months and this is the first picture I have taken of it (got a digital camera for Christmas)

It'a a 2002-03 Nevada City, my first "real" bike. I have added a Titanium Selle Italia seat, a new stem (dont know which, bike shop put it on for me) and Egg Beaters with Sidi shoes.

I'm very happy with this setup, I ride 5 days a week, 16 miles a day, trying to get ready for spring so I can enter some rides

Fuji Roubaix Pro

Finally got around to buying a road bike...

'03 Fuji Roubaix Pro, complete 105 gruppo. Only thing changed so far is saddle from stock crappy Fuji to Brooks Team Professional, and added Egg Beater S pedals (soon to be replaced by either Time Impact or Speedplay), frame pump, bottle cages, seat bag. I'll fit the cyclocomputer tonight!

Omg!
It's nice to see another happy Pinarello owner. It is making feel bad that I haven't been able to get mine back on the road after my move. Gotta fix that ASAP.

How long have you had her?

Lordy!! that sure is purdy!! You just don't see too many gold colored bikes and it would be an enormous understatement to say that it works for that bike. Love the fork.
