Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Beautiful fuji

I ride Fuji myself (07 Fuji roubaix rc). I wish I saw more of them on this site. Fuji are great bikes to ride and really underrated. Mine is not as exotic or expensive like the rest...but it fits me fine..

i cant believe you have lightweights for your crossbike. I'd like some ultegra shifters for my road bike and I'd be happy.

Sure, no problem. The wheels are plenty stiff and the tires absorb the serious bumps. But I only use them for (typical Dutch) fast flat courses (hence the single ring in front on this bike).

Merry Christmas to me!!!

2008 Orbea Onix Dama with Campy Centaur. I'll be changing the handlebars - probably to Salsa Short & Shallow so my little 'girlie hands' are more comfortable reaching the brakes when in the drops. It's my first road bike and I'm lovin' it!

2000 Pinarello Galileo. I don't have a good shot of it, but here it is hidden by my trusty PowerLite BMX. The Pinarello is kitted with a mixed Campy group and Look pedals. I love it, have put many thousands of miles on it and am only now in the process of researching and building something new as well. It will be Italian, but beyond that I have no real clue! I can't replace the P bike, but I do want a new steed.

I love getting stuff for myself, under the guise of Christmas. So much nicer than relying on others.

Trick bike. Love the boid on the back.

Nothing special, just a cheap frameset (7005 AL, w/carbon fork) to replace a sloping TT Lapierre which wasn't for me.

Well, just hit 100 miles on this thing after picking it up on Dec. 26th. Man this thing is SMOOFV ! I was riding my MTB w/ slicks (Specialized Hardrock) everywhere when a friend asked me to take home an old Torelli he had and ride it and compare it to my MTB. A day or two on that bike and I was ready for my first road bike. Anyways here it is, 2006 Felt F80 (105 Groupo), picked it up brand new for $650 OTD! It may be a bit dirty, had to ride through some puddles to make it past 100 (raining in So Cal right now). Here is a pic of the old Torelli also.

Good job on the felt, looks like a great deal.
As for the torelli - something needs to be done. The sora/bontrager/altus set-up is horrible, and that looks to be a nice, yet poor fitting, frame.
