Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Take the size sticker off, flip the stem, and cut the steerer tube down to the one 5mm spacer. Trust me, much more comfortable. But nice bike. I happen to have the same one.

Yea, the size sticker and such....I took this shot <24hrs. after I got the bike. Just riding a lot.

New since: Selle Gel SLK saddle & Ultegra 6620 pedals (should have gone w. 6620-G, prob.closer shade match to crankset.

The 'flip': The LBS gave me the 'pro' fitting and that's what they came up with. My other bike is a good 2" lower and I may give it a go tomm. Don't have a torque tool and not familiar w. carbon.

Super sensitive are we? He has no idea who you are and made a comment, which in the absense of any other useful information you have offered, should have got him the benefit of the doubt. No need to call him a name. Besides this name calling just gets you grouped among the other super sensitive a-holes joining every month.

Thank you...

Thank you for the lesson in sensitivity. But since Steaktaco took it in the spirit in which it was meant (witness the self-deprecating mention of having to ask my boyfriend how to post a pic and the smiley face), I think everyone's feelings are OK. BUT, STEAKTACO I APOLOGIZE IF I OFFENDED YOU.
Now, on to the offending pics that caused the insensitive name-calling. The boyfriend came thru-my 2008Orbea Diva-a women's bike, ridden by a woman.

1986 Gazelle Champion Mondial AA. Record/Chorus/Centaur mix and match 10speed group. 32 spoke Open Pros on Centaur hubs.

This is what a racing bicycle looks like, boys and girls.

Just started riding bike after several years of running. Running became to hard on the body. I picked this Trek 1600 up last fall at my LBS and love it.

Colnago Master Light, Campy Chorus.

I've made a few changes since this picture was taken. Different wheels (Bontrager Race X Lite), different saddle, and different pedals.

Nice! Flip the bike around so we can see the drive train.
