Handlebars are too high, ha just kidding. I'm digging those MTB pedals, they're super easy to clip in and out of. I have a pair on my cx bike I'v been debating putting them on my roadie, but I haven't simply for aesthetic reasons.

Nice.
Well, I was going to say something, but after reading the last 2 pages here I see it is well covered!

He has his bike the way he wants it. And if you read a few posts above yours, he doesn't care what you think.
Personally, more power to him.

power to him for riding at almost 70 years old, but I am still confused out of the vast amount of bikes out there...why choose a TT?

Same bike as last years, but coming off the trainer for the winter season and getting ready for some road miles.

Wow, I didn't even notice that. But, they are the same size, I guess the flash hitting the front of the bike makes the front wheel and tire look smaller, because the shadow in the back is definitely making the rear look bigger than normal.

Cry all you want, I did it because I wanted to and because I could. The bike is comfortable, fast and handles well. What more do you want?

I have a 2006 Diamondback Podium 1. It ended up costing me all of $125 to fix it up. It needed tires, tubes, and a rear rim. I also taped the bars, and had to put my mountain bike seat on it, as the seat for it was junk. I plan on being fitted for a seat this year, and getting a good one for me. I also plan on going clipless this year. Then after the summer, to late next winter I plan on upgrading to a carbon bike. I just want to get at least a year and a half on this, plus lose a little more weight.

I sold one of these Podium 1's from Dicks a few years back. For what it cost, it was a surprisingly nice bike. Like any entry level road bike, stock wheels are garbage and you get a hybrid of components to bring down the costs. But overall not a bad bike at all, especially for the sub 150 range.

Here is my AMX Patriot, set up for Triathlon season. Sorry for the bad pic, I know, not drive side, too far away, ect. It is aluminum, steel fork, double crank, Sora, downtube shifters, Profile Design Aero Bars. Moving the downtube shifters to bar end on the Aero Bars this week, and hopefully a new wheelset soon.
