Finally uploaded my pics from the camera to my PC so I thought I would add my one of my bikes (the good one) to the collection. Camera was fairly new at the time and I was just playing around photographing anything so no OCP conventions re chain lines were followed!

I ordered it back in August. I called the dealer a few times to check on it's progress and he assured me I was going to get the second one off the line after the team got theirs. I waited patiently and finally brought it home yesterday. I haven't been able to ride it yet, but will do it tomorrow if the weather holds. I've waited this long, what's one more day?

Mine: '05 Scattante R550, 105 equipped. IMO the best beginner bike on the market. Bought it from SuperGo and loved it right out of the box. The aero bars are for a Sprint Tri in April and then those things may disappear.
Hers: '05 Giant FCR4. She didn't want a "road" bike so this was the next best thing. Our first ride together was 22 miles and minus one a$$-kickin hill she loved it. We got it at the LBS for just over $200...almost criminal.

Sakae Litage
She's not quite finished yet. I chopped the old SR drops and slammed in a pair of Crane Creek 200TT levers.
But I had her together enough to rip up the roads today.
Frame: 1987 Sakae Litage. Lugged Aluminum ( --extremely-- light for its day) with internal cable routing and braze-on for downtube shifters.
Campagnolo Centaur crankset and BB
Suntour Cyclone derailers and shifters.
Suntour GPX pedals with toe clips.
Tektro dual pivot calipers.
Shimano 105 hubs laced into Sun rims.
I chopped the old drop bars today. It was too damned nice to wait any longer for UPS to drop off my new Syntace bars. I don't know, the chopped bars worked so well I may just wrap them with decent tape. I can always ebay the new bar after it comes.

I've got a Bianchi Giro. Love it.
I could probably upgrade the crank and seat post, but I'm in no hurry. Did replace the pedals with Look KEO Road pedals.
It's a decent bike, and frankly, I don't see the point in a something that costs much more.
I know a lot of cyclists are heavy into the "gear" thing, but with two kids in college and another on the way, I won't be spending a lot on upgrades.
