Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good news you guys are going to love me.

I'll get to that in a second but first. I was not going to do the group ride today but still ride. So I rode the way they would be to see if i would see the group. I seen them and decided to turn around and join them. I chased and got to them and one guy said he told them to slow down and they said I would get up to them no matter what. There were a lot of people this time and I guess it was a slower ride.

On the way back they went a little faster but still not fast. One guy then told me that there is a ride that starts in Onekama on friday and there would be someone from Jelly Belly. So now I'm going there on Friday. Once I drop pro rider Jelly Belly they will sign me up for there team. They will then pay for me to go race. I will dominate Cat 5 races and move up. I will turn pro in a few years. Then I will win the Tour De France.

How about earwax, booger, earthworm, or vomit flavor!!! I wonder who did the testing to get these just right.

I remember when I was at the Triple Crown race in Philly, I must have walked by the Jelly Belly tent a dozen times. Every time I did they tossed me a few sample bags....now I don't normally like Jelly Beans and, as a diabetic I shouldn't eat them, but DAMN they are fabulous!!

excellent post, truely excellent. as much as i always enjoy your posts ryan, make sure they know to sign you to ride, not sell multi flavord jelly beans at the finish line of the cat 5 races and TdF. Make sure they know you want to ride it and will win first time, with no prior training. as long as they know and understand that, you will be fine.

hear hear, those are nasty. I don't detect the slightest resemblance to popcorn when I've tried those.

Good luck with that Jelly Belly hammer dropping. One of the JB guys is a local and if you can drop him, you're 10 times the stud I could have ever even imagined you to be.
