Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pain in my ribs, fitment??

Hey guys-

For about 2 weeks now I have been having sharp pains in my ribs, its actually up in my chest just below my right pectoral and a couple inches toward my side. I have it when I am riding and also when doing anything else that requires me to move. Basically feels like any other rib injury, like someone stabs me with a pin-knife every once in a while. I am guessing I have seperated my ribs or popped the intercostal cartilage or something of that nature. I have NO idea how it happened or exactly when it started. I am just curious if anyone has had similar issues and if it was caused by fitment or anything. I feel comfortable on the bike, but I am also a newb. I have about 180 miles on it so far. I did 24 miles this morning at 17.30 mph average. Trying to build up.

Thanks!
