Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Solid meh. I think it would look better without all the red.

Those are the wheels/tires I used on my black bike. I am sure I'll be picking up some 38-50mm carbon wheels sometime soon. But yeah.. I think the red will have to grow on me. Or I will switch out all the red to the black bike. At some point.

You could start with black spacers, and a black seatpost collar. Or less spacers. Just because this is the Hot or Not thread.

Are you sponsored by McDonalds? Also, how in the world do you stay on that saddle? While I like colorful bikes, I'm not "Lovin' it".

sorry.. it's a not
Black bar tape + slammed stem, and it would get a meh from me.
I personally don't mind the coloured cable housing
Adding a saddle with some red in it (arione with red stripe?) would get it closer to hot

Hot. I had a pink bike back when I lived in Boston. It's a track bike, but similar colors. Sorry for the terrible pics.

Funny thing is, that's a brand new saddle (it does have traces of red) that replaced a saddle that had more red on it. I thought it was a bit much. This is a Williams saddle, which I think is going to turn out to be THE perfect saddle (there's another thread about that).

+1, kinda. Gran Fondo - consider grey bar wrap next time (or not, whatever). Otherwise, it looks nice and the weight is pretty darn good.

The judging standards in this thread are a bit nuts, but the entertainment value brings me back from time to time. Try not to take anything personally.

It's no fair having such a cute pup in the picture. The pup alone earns the hot.

Wow, a Wound Up fork! Have not seen one of those in a few years. As a fellow Ti owner, this looks like a comfortable all day riding bike.

Essentially, same setup with black/grey tires. Plus some bar tape. A little better? (Despite that the wheels are not as nice, they probably look a bit better)
In regards to the seat angle, I think gran Fondo was just looking at the picture at a weird angle. You can see it is much straighter than that other picture showed.

Yeah, I plan on lowering stem and cutting steerer and use a carbon spacer. I want to make sure everything is fitting proper before I start making moves I can't reverse.
