Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

SKS Raceblades on 25mm?

I am thinking about getting some SKS raceblades for my CAAD 9. I am currently using 25mm tires for training during the winter but go back to 23 for faster rides in the summer. The literature says that the raceblades accomodate 18-23. and the Raceblades XL accommodate 25-32. Will the normal raceblades work with a 25? I don't want to get 2 sets of fenders.

thanks

you'll probably be fine. I have 23's and for the life of me if I put them close to the tire they rub, so I put the fender mounts on the fork and seat stay as high as I can so the fenders are actaully about 1/4 to 1/2 " away from the tire.
