Quite some stuff since the last time I posted. Working my way backwards form last night:
- Two pairs of short and long brake cables.
- Another Feida bike, this time in yellow. There's a third one that I'm eying for spare parts if the toy shop I bought the first two from gives me a tempting enough discount.
- A few axle and cone lock nuts; forgot to pick up some washers while I was at it, though. Probably will pick some up tonight from any nearby shop.
- A pair of cheap headlights.
From Amazon:
- A pair of 37-451/20x1-3/8 Primo Comet tires; might get another pair for the second Feida.
- Four Avenir tubes to match the above, with Schraders. I cannot tell you just how much I friggin hate Woods valves!
- Topeak Handlebar Water Bottle Cage Mount. I'm going to try this out before I decide to order more of it.
- Delta Holdits Grande Beverage Holder for my wife to use on her trike.

Some people love them and some hate them, I'm in the love boat. I've had mine now for 3 seasons and all is well with them. The reason I selected them initially was lack of mechanical things like springs etc on the pedal that could break, and the shoe cleat is very minimal too which means with the right shoes I can walk with them. I opted for the Frogs even though they're on a road bike because I wanted the option to be able to walk if needed.

An Indonesian-made saddle to replace the stock Chinese one on my second Feida, and a longer seatpost - same as the first Feida.

Got me a new crash hat. I was a little skeptical of the Scattante at first, and it's certainly no marvel of craftsmanship, but it fits my head better than any helmet I've ever worn. And the price was right. Grabbed a couple Rubino Pros while I was at the store as well because they were marked way down.

Sunday, ordered Giant TCR Advanced 2, might pick up longer stem when I pick it up.
Today, from England, I ordered Shimano 105 carbon pedals, White Lighting Grease, a cateye tail light, Kask Rapido helmet, and cheap Ribble sunglasses.

I like bikes
I am going old school on my clothing (as much wool as possible) to go along with my new but old school steel road bike (the bike is a winter project).
Hopefully putting lycra & clingy tight clothing behind, except for maybe the hottest months.

almost new Kurt Kinetic Road Machine off Craigslist at a really good deal. With the front wheel ring which i think is one of the more stable ones. Will still use my rollers but this will be easier for Zwifting.

I recently got a TUNE DC14 skewers. So pumped when I got them but it didn't last. 
I realized that there was something wrong on color hue of the skewers. The Quick Release handle compared to the nut's color did not match. For a somewhat expensive item, really disappointed on the quality control of the manufacturer (tune.de). I'm sending it back.

My commuter bike had a rack eyelet crack off and this has caused just enough sway that there is rubbing of the brakes/wheel. As a daily rider and someone with OCD, I can't handle this.
Picked up a new AL frameset for peanuts, just to have, as I told my better half. Welp, that lasted all of 2 weeks. I now have all the parts to build it up as a super rad commuter, fenders, rack, 1x10 drivetrain with riser bars and thumb shifter. Very excited, as my other commuter is drop bars and a 2x10. I love variety in the steed shed!

minor purchase for me.. new Sram garmin mount for my CX bike. I think they hold the garmin better than the stock mounts and easier to read the map/numbers when i use it for a winter bike on the road.

Recently bought a Giro Foray helmet. Performance had it for $39.00 which was too good that I couldn't turn it down. Also needed it for a while which didn't hurt. Also has the RocLoc 5 strap so fit seems as good if not better than my old Atmos.

Got some new even lighter matte finish carbon cages. 15.5g will do just fine! Ebay cages, 2/$22 free shipping. Quality and craftsmanship is superb! Bottles fit nice and snug with no chance of a bottle popping out, yet easy enough to pull one out

I've been hitting sales and ordered some clothes for deep winter. The winters in DC aren't too bad most of the time, but we usually see a pretty nasty cold snap after the new year. I've got a ton of running gear I can also repurpose for layering if needed. I would still like to pick up a cycling cap that offers some ear protection and fits under a helmet. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have a set of those on one bike, and the real Bontrager cages on another. After months of daily use, I can't find a functional or cosmetic difference.

Can you provide a link to these cages? I've been looking to replace my Profile cages after launching bottles from them a couple of times from hitting pot holes.
