Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's Late, I Can't Sleep, So I Have a Question

Has anyone ever posted to Bike Forums while riding your bike? Using a Blackberry or whatever. If you did, you would be The Man.

To be The Man, it definitely needs to be outside. Preferably in a race.

Farmville, eh? So when you want to go into the city, do you go to Richmond or Lynchburg?

I dropped my Blackberry while riding. I don't get second place sprint points?

Bongwood? Trust me, most of these kids wouldn't know a bong from rear derailleur. Sexual metaphors are the approved method of poking fun at LU.

Was your question serious? We go to Richmond, unless I need work done on my bikes.

Times have changed. Good friend of mine who went to LU could have probably made a bong from a rear derailleur.

Serious. I went to school and lived in Williamsburg for a bunch of years, and spent lots of time in Richmond. Fun town (city). I remember being head butted once at Famous Franks, turned into quite the night. Good times.

LOL you count Lynchburg as a city.
No Lynchburg is not a city it is just Jerry Territory. Sadly I was under his mind control for a year....
at LU half my dormmates smoked weed and that includes my RAs. You just have to know who to talk to. The irony in their "punishment" system is you get to meet other people who party. Not very smart from a school stand point.

Jerry is Scary. I also went to HS in downtown Newport News. Lived over behind CNC (now CNU). Spent a lot of time in Hampton.

I answered the phone during a race last year. Of course I was 20 minutes behind the group at that point because of a climb (not my forte) and a flat (after the wheel truck had long since passed). I was sitting up enjoying the countryside and my LBS rang. I answered and they asked why I wasn't racing....I told them I was...i'm just that bad a**. They called to tell me my new wheel was built and ready to go.

Can I set it up so all I have to do is click post while riding? I send texts and answer e-mail and stuff, but surfing is a bit much.

I'd probably wreck trying to open Opera, surf to bikeforums, find a thread, reply, hit enter, etc. Bikeforums is kinda annoying to use on my BB anyway. It doesn't display very well.
