Advice needed on frame size
Hi all, I am looking to new a new road bike frame, I have the Dolan hercules in mind, but I am unsure about the sizing of them. I am 6'3 and weigh 15 stone, currently I am riding a 58 slopping frame Specialized and I have been told by at least 2 people that I should be going for the 52 in the Dolan as the 56 will be too big for me. But I am really not sure.
Here are the size chart of both
Dolan
Specialized
Have anyone any experience of the dolan frames
Thanks all

I think the 550mm TT of the size 52 would be way too short for you.

I'm 6' 3" and ride a 61cm Specialized which fits well. I depends on your inseam and torso length too, though.

Your Specialized link doesn't work for me, but going by a 58 in a Tarmac Pro, you're between the 52 and 56 in the Dolan. You might be able to make one or the other work, but there's no way to tell based on the information.
Take a closer look at the geometry chart. I think you're looking at the (meaningless) actual top tube length, not the virtual one.

Stop messing around with urban legend and get measured at a bike shop or do a fit kit and then take those figures and see if the Dolan will work. Too much money to blow for a decision that you are leaning towards based on emotion.
