Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Update:

"I forgot to ask you... This looks exactly like Lance Armstrong's Team Astana bike. Do you think maybe it is actually the bike he rode in the Tour Down Under? That would be SO cool!!!"

Response:

"i really not know if it is that bike..
you will see for yourself.
I need your name and address and we start the deal right now."

Before this is over, you should let him in on our little "discussion" over here on BF. I'm sure he'll be pleased.

When he tells you where to send the money, you can tell him you've sent it. He'll say he's not recieved it, and then you can have fun calling him names for taking your "money".

BTW, did anyone hear the "This American Life" episode last year about scamming the scammer ...... that was one WILD story .... I was starting to feel bad for the original scammer !

Tell him that the account they wired the money to was one digit off, and the money went to the local police dept retirement account instead (or the Police Benevolent Fund). let him know that your contacting them now and giving his information so that they can properly wire him the money... and dont forget to apologize profusely for the mishap
