Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Which Bike Should I Choose

Hi guys, I am looking to buy my first road bike and would like your advice. Which bike should I pick.

Options:

1. Brand New 2001 GT ZR 2.0-aluminum frame/carbon fork- full ultegra
2. Brand New 2004 Jamis Eclipse-steel/carbon fork-full ultegra
3. Very lightly used 2003 Lemond Titanium-full dura ace

Each bike is roughly the same amount with $200.

Thanks.

Any of those would be awesome, but all else being equal I'd go for the Ti with DA.

Biggest factor should be to see what fits you the best.

Can you test ride them all?

Lemond or Jamis. Actually get both and give me the one you don't want.
