legs falling asleep more easily, suddenly
question for you all...
i'm noticing that lately it's much easier for my legs to fall asleep....not while i'm on the bike, but in regular life, when i'm sitting and i cross my legs for more than a few minutes. also, i'm finding that if i sit for a while, then stand up suddenly, i get slightly dizzy as if blood is rushing out of my head.
since last summer ive been doing a significant amount more cycling than i ever have before. I have lost some fat (29 years old, 6ft, dropped from 182 to 173) and put on a good amount of muscle in my legs. since it's been winter, almost all of this cycling has been on rollers or on a trainer. i try to get up and move around as much as possible while on the bike. my diet is pretty decent and (knock wood) i have no significant health problems.
i had an issue with numbness on my old bike saddle, but replaced it almost immediately and haven't had the problem since.
has this ever happened to any of you?
is it due to the added muscle and less fat? getting older? or could this be a problem?

The dizzy part could be as simple as being slightly dehydrated. I had that issue and talked to a heart doctor during a stress test. He told me I should have to urinate within one hour after a ride, and again within three. Does seem to hold true for me, I increased my fluid intake and haven't noticed that sensation for a long time.

when was your last physical checkup?
It could be that you have low blood pressure.
it's quite normal to feel light headed when you're at rest/sitting and immediately try and get up.
human bodies aren't built for sudden changes in physical activity, which is why you should do some stretches or light body movements before doing anything drastic, especially when you are at rest.

You're getting more skinny and you have lower blood pressure.
Congrats.
When you start noticing these symptoms going away, take note.
Been skinny, then not skinny, then kinda skinny,
