Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I am the hanging judge of musical taste.

And you are guilty.

I don't think there is any music that will make hills go by faster for me. The only thing that ever worked for me was setting short-term goals. Example, if I can just make it to that tree and then I would pick another object and aim for it. Eventually, I found the other side of the hill.

60,000 songs ("and rising"!)?

How long would it take you to listen to all of them?

FYI,
like em or not, The Fall dates back to the 70s. I appreciate all music.
Here's another submission for when the road turns up to get me over.

The Fall are good but.......................
Most modern music critics put this band in their top 5 consistently.

I like this version better:

(Mildly nsfw if you co-workers have no sense of humor, in which case you probably shouldn't be on Bike Forums any way.)

I prefer one of these although the Fall is awesome.

Smiths,
Good stuff. The reason I posted those Fall songs were for the driving bass. Not unlike "club music" where DJs look for specific beats per minute to keep the people on the floor, I think those songs offer a similar rhythmic beat that matches a good cadence.
