Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

on one of my recent TSURURADIO mixtapes - https://tsururadio.com/2010/03/maps-r...rever-mixtape/ - I threw in two faves from the 80s for fun, one was "Come On Eileen" by Dexy's Midnight Runners - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXLHUThBib8 - on that final third where it slows down and builds and builds, I was going up that part of the commute that, though not really a "climb" is a long slight incline and man, ear to ear grin as I flew up that bastard that morning. Perfect timing....

I discovered by accident during last night's hill repeats that Dust Bros. soundtrack to Fight Club seems to have a good climbing feel to it. (Though I still think hills are to be savored and enjoyed rather than endured.)
Just ignore the silly anime junk of this vid and listen to the tunes.
