Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

282W. Wasn't too terrible. I'm still waiting on results from my threshold test, but it should be around 300W

I haven't forgotten about letting you know how he calculates it. The guy who is doing it is also a professor so he is pretty busy and hasn't had a lot of time. Should be hearing back by Monday at the latest.

I had a nice ride today, primarily endurance zone with some threshold zone on climbs.

Had another nice ride today. Windy at the beginning and rainy at the end but still had fun. I forgot to turn the garmin back on for a little over 4 miles, total ride was a little under 30 miles. At one point towards the beginning we were on flat ground and riding into the wind, I looked down I was doing around 270 watts and moving at a whopping 13 mph.

Short ride today. Realized I didn't have my HR strap with me and it really threw me. Without the numbers I had no clue what I was doing, or so it felt lol

Spring Fling Crit Race. This is a 5 race series where they take your top 4 races to decide the winner. You get points for primes and for each final lap sprint. I won our prime by a nose and got 3rd in the final sprint. A group of 3 of us were off the front almost immediately and the guy that won the final sprint did almost no work at all. Kind of annoying. Anyway, I'm sitting 2nd overall in points for the series so hopefully I can get a little revenge on that guy in the coming weeks.

I was pretty tired, but found some motivation. Doesn't look like I worked as hard as kj5423! Avg. Power 229, Max power 475.

Perry Dam Road Race. Finished 5th out of 49 but got no KOM points so I'm basically out of the running for a top 3 spot most likely. This is a 3-race series where your best 2 races count. I will not be able to race the 3rd so I'm screwed.
