Hi, I'm new!
I just dusted off an old road bike that was given to me a couple years ago.
I rode my bike overseas and lost about 15 lbs in 6 months, combining better nutrition and including more exercise into my life by the previously mentioned cycling.
Now I'm back stateside and I'm glad that I'm able to get out and ride a bit.
Here's a pic of my sled:
Marin Argenta and all the shifters and stuff says Daytona on it. I'm fairly new to road riding, so I'm still slow and what not. I've never gone on a big ride or race.
It's nice to meet you all!

Welcome. How many small children did you smuggle back to the states in that saddle bag?

Nice bike for a gift!
The Daytona parts are from an Italian company called Campagnolo. Daytona is currently called Centaur if you want to go look at the Campy groups. Very nice components and a good looking bike.

Howdy.
(The anal-retentive types here like their bike pictures on a white background, must show the 'drivetrain' side, and should also ideally have no visible tire valve stems. )

'Sled' is just what I call all of my two wheel machines.
Proper pictures? Umm... it's a bike. JK I'll get after it tomorrow during daylight hours.
Giant Bag is for all the stuff that my wife and I take with us. I'll carry the weight, she should just enjoy the ride. I also put smart-aleck comments in there.

There is a picture standard to be upheld.
Consider it an initiation ritual.
1. In front of a garage door, preferably white;
2. Driveline side out and chain on big chainring
3. Cranks and pedals level; and
4. No visible valve stems. Exception - if tires have prominant lettering, valvestems must be at the 1200 position (because that way the tire lettering is readable - and you know to align your tire labels and valvestems, right?)
Please retake your picture and resubmit.
